Important Trip Details:
This is a challenging trek. You will need to be comfortable walking 10 miles per day over several days with several thousand feet of elevation change. By Alpine standards, the trails are well worn and in good condition. However, if you have not hiked in this part of the world you may find them very rugged. You do not need to be an athlete, but you should be in excellent physical condition to take this trip.

Do you supply hiking poles that I can use or borrow?No. We recommend that you bring your own hiking poles. They are very useful on this trip.
Is my luggage transferred for me on this trip?Yes. Your luggage will be transferred each day by our driver. You will just bring them down to the hotel lobby each morning.
What’s the best way to train for this trip?Hike and do other cardio exercises. The more time you spend hiking before this tour, the more comfortable you will be. Running and cycling are also great ways to train.

Coline Paquereau
Traveling has always been a great source of inspiration for Coline, with the opportunity to discover new landscapes, new cultures. After two years on Reunion Island, two years in Morocco, and a year in New Zealand, she returned to the French Alps to hike as a profession. Treks are a chance to share beautiful and unforgettable moments, precious experiences. Botany, fauna, geology and meteorology fascinate Coline, as there is so much to discover!

Julien's educational background is steeped in natural science. He is a trained French biologist and agronomist with a passion for exploring and sharing the wonders of nature. Based in Cordon, near Chamonix, he has conducted research across Europe, with a particular interest in European wildcats. With more than 15 years of guiding experience in the Northern Alps and Norway, Julien brings expertise, enthusiasm, and a deep love for the outdoors to every adventure. An avid adventurer, he enjoys long-distance walks, including completing the Pyrenees Haute Route and thru-hiking New Zealand.
